We are originally from Chiapas, Mexico, and bring the vibrant flavors and rich culinary heritage of our home to Berkeley, CA. Established with a passion for sharing authentic Mexican cuisine, Cabañas Cafe is your destination for Mexican delights such as Quesabirrias, Molletes, Chilaquiles, and uniquely crafted Mexican-inspired Kurtos. Kurtos, short for kürtőskalács, are a fluffy pastry originating from Eastern Europe and commonly stuffed with a sweet or savory filling. Wether it's breakfast, dinner or dessert, our bread is baked fresh-to-order to ensure the best flavor in every bite.
